It's great for us, but. . .
 

My dog loves this thing. So far it looks like it will last forever, but she's pretty gentle with it. She got into a tug of war with another puppy, and his puppy teeth left puncture holes everywhere. Flies far and straight normally, but it takes some practice b/c it is pretty heavy compared w/ the cheapo plastic frisbees. Gave it four stars b/c of one major con; it doesn't float, so no pool, lake, or beach.

I bought this, (two, actually), for a 7 month old pit bull-boxer mix. She's a super sweet dog, but really hard on her toys. Traditional frisbee's were being chewed beyond recognition in just a few days.

This Kong frisbee has proven itself tough enough to stand the abuse AND flies exceptionally well. I can can throw this at least as far as a regular frisbee, and I think even farther.

The trick is to use your thumb on top and your forefinger curled underneath and up against the rim. Once you have the frisbee in your hand, wait a moment for it to stabilize and throw evenly and smoothly. It only took 4 or 5 throws before I had it down....

I would absolutely recommend this to any dog owner.

this frisbee is flimsier than I thought it would be. Plastic can float alot better. Needs to be thicker to handle right.

not a real flyer
 

I was expecting this frisbee to he of hard rubber like the kong toys but it is not. This is soft rubber and doesn't fly good at all. Perhaps I not the best frisbee thrower but it is by far the worst one i have tried. Very dissappointed as I am a fan of kong.

My dog really did like this, although I learned to not let her have it to play with. It's a great flyer and tough construction, but just like anything else, it can be ripped apart. She ate about 1/3 of it before I realized it. Next time, we'll just play frisbee then I'll take it from her until the next time.
