THIS IS NOT A TOMTOM ITEM
 

This item clearly states it is a TomTom dashboard mount. It is not. This is an after market product sent in a plastic bag. TomTom produce a mount and I was under the impression that is what I was purchasing from the description.

The item is durable and looks good. It blends in well and stays where you want it while driving down the road.

Stable Dashboard Mount
 

I was slightly skeptical about the TomTom GPS Dashboard Mount, since other reviewers reported that it slides off the dash. That may be why it now comes with an adhesive tab that sticks to the dash; a hook grips a loop on the mount. I did not use this feature since I want to be able to move the GPS between cars.
We used the TomTom Dashboard Mount (w/o the adehesive) on a Philadelphia to Chicago trip. Positioned on the dash of our Traverse it did not budge at all during the trip. Worked fine.

Not worth the price
 

Do not waste your money on this product. The Tom Tom does not adhere to the mount and keeps falling off.
